Ilayathalapathy Vijay stating on Sunday that he did not intend to join politics in the near future.
Vijay at the meet, said that he has no intention to join politics immediately and would like to concentrate on his film assignments. It was expected that he would formally join the party during Gandhi’s three-day Tamil Nadu tour last week. But Vijay clarified that his meeting with Rahul Gandhi was only a courtesy visit. The actor has converted his fan club into a people’s movement: Vijay Makkal Iyakkam.
